Untamed Artistry

2021 — Web Design

Untamed Artistry needed a website update to match the recently refreshed branding + packaging by the always lovely Liminal States, and I was honoured to tackle that task. The goal was to balance UA’s quirky “lash BFF” energy with their professional expertise. To improve the customer experience, I created a clean + organized layout with fun elements, such as unique button treatments, colourful typography, and cute icons.

This was an absolute favourite project of mine, with lots of satisfying details, so enjoy roughly two hundred screenshots to celebrate. ✨

Landing Page

Untamed Artistry is proud to offer quality products and educational resources to their customers, all of which is mentioned on their landing page. But the previous page was cluttered and it needed a clean-up to help all that content shine.

I repurposed and built upon the bold, fun elements of the UA brand to create unique sections through out that showcased their products, resources, and features while still being easy to navigate + digest.

Navigation & Dropdowns

The previous UA website had proven a lil difficult for customers to track down exactly what they were looking for; due to the nature of the products, a lot of items look very similar and differentiating them from one another could be tricky. To help customers better navigate the site, I designed some very cute + very organized dropdown menus. The icons and colourful type treatments made the menus fun to look at, while clean organization made it easy to find the exact lash style or tool you’re be looking for.

Shop Catalog
and Product Pages

The shop’s product pages were also doing a lot of heavy lifting, with tons of product info + options, suggested products, and customer reviews.

I kept the product pages really clean + organized so that it was easy for customers to read through all of the info, but made sure to keep that classic UA charm. The typography treatments played double duty, helping to add colour while also establishing a strong visual hierarchy.

Resources and Additional Pages

In addition to the landing page and shop pages, I also designed some standalone pages, like the UA blog that houses their extensive resource library, and practical bits, like a refreshed customer login page.
